Jim "Dietrich" Scollay put an enormous effort into researching the history of the Milts back in 1981, and published the definitive Milt volume to date titled The Red Book.  He composed it on a manual typewriter and made copies with carbon paper, and never expected to be made available to the entire world.  The intended audience was active brothers and recent alums from the era of the late 70's and early 80's so the tone of the book is not always polite.  In fact, it is somewhat mean in places.  However, it remains the most complete single volume which describes the origins of our brotherhood. Please look at the work in its historical context and do not assume that the current batch of Milts hold, foster, encourage or engage in any of the politically incorrect or misogynist sentiment that might be gleened from a few passages of the Red Book
